I was born and raised in South Africa in a very ordinary Afrikaans speaking family. I finished high school in 1986 and completed a Marketing and Sales Management Diploma in 1989. I pursued a career in Public Relations from 1990 onwards. I married the love of my life, Albert, in 1997. I felt like my life only began at the age of thirty though when I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. We received our calling as missionaries soon after. We were called to full time ministry as missionaries 22 years ago. In pursuit of God and this amazing relationship between us and Him, it took us to very interesting places and people. We had the privilege of serving in Russia, Mozambique, Niger, Mongolia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Witnessing God’s love for people, was awe inspiring. Ever obedient to where He leads us, it’s now a great privilege for me to be back in my own country and finally having the time to pursue the vision of the Prayer Bible.
