I was born and raised in South Africa in a very ordinary Afrikaans speaking family.
I finished high school in 1986 and completed a Marketing and Sales Management Diploma in 1989. I pursued a career in Public Relations from 1990 onwards. I married the love of my life, Albert, in 1997.

I felt like my life only began at the age of thirty though when I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. We received our calling as missionaries soon after. We were called to full time ministry as missionaries 22 years ago.
In pursuit of God and this amazing relationship between us and Him, it took us to very interesting places and people.
We had the privilege of serving in Russia, Mozambique, Niger, Mongolia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Witnessing God’s love for people, was awe inspiring.
Ever obedient to where He leads us, it’s now a great privilege for me to be back in South Africa and to finally have the time to pursue the vision of the Prayer Bible.

The vision

As a missionary to many nations the past 21 years, the most common predicament I’ve encountered voiced by many in various nations was: “I want to pray but I don’t know what to pray…”

The Holy Spirit birthed the idea of a Prayer Bible in me, where one can explore any chapter in the Bible and pray a powerful prayer with it.

The vision of the Prayer Bible is to place a tool in your hands that will help you start your prayer life or resurrect your prayer life. Developing your prayer life will enhance your relationship with Him.

I truly hope that you will enjoy spending time in the Prayer Bible just as much as I had in reading through the chapters and writing the prayers.
